senior internet technologies & digital marketing consultant with some demonstrated history of work in the industry. skilled in project management, business planning, operations management, analytical skills and team building with track records. strong professional works on cross related functional projects & operations for the last 28 years holding managerial positions in several technology organizations in turkey & abroad.
in 1995, he began his internet technologies career in turk.net as technical support team supervisor in istanbul.
in 1999, he was assigned to project management of the first country-wide internet service provider venture of azerbaijan initiated by azercell of teliasonera and turkcell with 25 million usd startup venture project budget.
cem, as a project manager, named and registered the venture as azeronline.com and after a successful project closing he started the operation with the team he built, by support of azercell as the main shareholder of the project. after handing over the company at increasing positive profit margin in 2004, he returned back to istanbul being assigned to another startup technology venture named uth telecom of cenay group also the founder partner of azercell and subcontractor of turk telekom. (uth telecom is one of the first alternative telecom operators licensed by ministry)
between 2004 – 2009, he managed several startup projects focusing on internet technologies in cenay group. during this period, he worked in several projects such as;
digital marketing consultancy for oracle turkey sme clients
pre-sales advisory for UNDP to netas probil chairman and the board for their entry to c.i.s. countries’ mobile telecom operators ending with 10+ million usd
in europe, cem also was advisor to some middle east private equity holders with his due diligence services analyzing small technology companies listed on the stock exchange nasdaq.
he also named and managed an e-commerce startup project being as first virtual dealer of turkcell with the first citizen id number inquiry system with xml web services with country’s first 3d secure online payment gateway.
2009 – 2012 he held the position of business development management in gantek holding and succeeded the several contracts that signed in c.i.s. countries such as;
bakcell 3d mapping rf network planning,
azerfon-vodafone oracle sun support agreement,
arvento vehicle tracking and management systems distributorship,
ais marine traffic system for socar oil vessels,
state customs tracking system, socar vehicles tracking system integrated with its erp.
cem also attempted to develop the business of gantek holding, managing various partnerships with global vendors for several tenders of telcos and various global institutions such as undp and world bank in azerbaijan, georgia, tajikistan and turkmenistan for mnp (mobile number portability) tender processes as well as some business development about telemetry/scada works for state alternative and renewable energy authority, m2m – amr for state electricity department which are not ended up with success.
2012 to present, focusing on digital marketing & internet technologies oriented projects for his clients as alo.net internet services. focusing on his client’s online reputation while managing all internet activities as their digital marketing department as well as caring hosting & cloud storage needs of his clients as a boutique internet digital marketing agency with his strong team.
